Anza Borrego Desert

Really enjoyed having time after Christmas to spend in Anza Borrego - the hikes, colors, and best of all, the company. Loved having Aunt Gail, Scott and Lauren with us for a second year, and relaxing time with family. We missed Chloe this year since she had to return to Oregon for work. Richard and Susan planned a surprise secret outing, which was an incredible moon-rise picnic and fire out in the middle of the desert. Unforgettable and an incredible way to close out 2012.

A Christmas beach walk...

a visit with Judy & Jeff

 

   

 We had a wonderful visit with Judy and Jeff...exploring new places in Boston and spending time together with Brody. Having visitors helped us get out of the apartment even in the cold! The ICA had an interesting show on the 1980s and a great view of the water. We also had dinner in the North End and coffee / dessert at Cafe Vittoria. On the way home, we caught a glimpse of the USS Constitution through the fog. Missing Judy and Jeff already!

a weekend in Amherst

We had a wonderful weekend in Amherst visiting the Firman Family and meeting Emily and Sarah's boyfriends and friends. Brody was incredibly happy and will enjoy spending the holidays with such an animal-loving family. We watched a home video from Emily's first birthday - so grateful for life-long friends. Excited to be living within driving distance and looking forward to visits to NYC and Amherst!
