An evening out in the North End with Mom, Amy and David visiting from CA and Alysa and Greg! We had dinner, took a walk, had some dessert, and a visit to a pastry shop to get some supplies for our apartment warming the following day.

 

We took walks in the neighborhood....

 

and enjoyed a visit to the fantastic Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum in our neighborhood!

B loved the sand and the beach, although he was skittish of the water. Maybe with time he'll try swimming.

 After a busy week settling into our new city, Nick and I took off on Friday evening for a weekend away. We had a chance to stay at a family friend's beautiful place in Matunuck, RI and the whole weekend was wonderful. After a day at the beach with B, and an early dinner with Onnie, Nick asked me to marry him....and I said yes (of course)! We are incredibly happy and it only began to really sink in as we started to share the news with family and friends once back in the city.

 This has been a crazy couple of weeks and a big move...but we are settled in and are very happy with the new apartment and neighborhood. We are right across from a great park and so close to shops, restaurants, and my work!

 It is true, I have loved our St. Louis apartment. I don't love packing. We have less than a week left in St. Louis and it is bittersweet...trying to see friends and maximize our time here.
